Elena Ryniker is a specialist Gastroenterologist at Auckland City Hospital with expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions. She completed her medical degree in 2002 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2022.

Elena works across both public and private practice and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centred care. She has experience managing both common and complex digestive health conditions, with a focus on clear communication, evidence-based treatment, and supporting patients through all stages of investigation and care.

Her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease, liver disorders, bowel cancer screening, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
