Endoscopy Auckland works closely with GPs and referrers to provide timely, high-quality endoscopy services in a modern, purpose-built facility.
Our goal is to support you through clear communication, streamlined processes and dependable reporting – so your patients can access the care they need without unnecessary delay.

Referring a patient
Referrals to Endoscopy Auckland can be made in the following ways:
Specialist Referrals via your GP practice software (e.g. Medtech or Indici)
Healthlink EDI: endoauck
Patients who already have a referral letter from you can also submit a booking request directly through our website, including uploading their referral and supporting documentation.
For all referrals, please include relevant clinical history, indication for procedure and any recent investigations to support triage.

All procedures are performed by experienced gastroenterologists and surgeons who are committed to delivering high-quality care.
Appointment availability
We aim to provide timely access to procedures wherever possible.
Most standard gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures can be scheduled within 7 working days of referral when patients are able to accept the earliest suitable appointment across our specialist team.
If your referral is urgent, please indicate this clearly so we can prioritise appropriately.
Communication and reporting
We are committed to providing clear and timely communication.
A procedure report is provided on the day
A detailed report is sent to the referring GP
Biopsy results are communicated once available
